10th Anniversary Meal
anniversary meal at "Colours" was a great success. The choir plus guests from as far away as Spain enjoyed an excellent
meal. Peter K made a small speech, with presentations to Liam and Adam. It's a saying that you can have done a job "Man
and Boy" and this certainly applies to these brothers! Adam holds the record for having sung every part in the choir
over a near ten year span!
Chris M, our longest serving member was presented with a Ukulele and a set of stamps
in recognition of a tenuous resemblence in character to George Formby. Having no interest in stamps, George Formby or
the Ukulele, Chris is sure to get many happy hours of enjoyment from this
gift. At least it will distract him from choir practice!
Special mention must be made of Father Luke and Sister Mary-Ann. Padre had the sense,
foresight and musical appreciation to appoint Peter Kwater as organist, and Sister Mary-Ann deals with the antics of her fellow
sopranos and the rest of the choir with total serenity and grace!
